Screw conveyor

Screw conveyors are mechanical conveying systems that use a rotating helical screw blade, also known as an auger, to move materials from one point to another. The screw blade is contained within a tube or trough, which provides support and prevents the material from spilling out.

Screw conveyors are commonly used to transport various materials, such as grain, powder, pellets, and sludge, in industries such as agriculture, food processing, mining, and wastewater treatment.
